Program Overview

The Specialty in Chemistry program is designed to train comprehensive abilities, including basic theory of chemistry, experimental skills and techniques, and basic training of scientific thought and practice in the fields of fundamental and applied researches.

Program Objectives

The program aims to train advanced professionals with strong fundamental knowledge, adaptive capacity, and ability of knowledge update. The trained professionals will be inter-disciplinary talent who is engaged in scientific research, education, technology, and management in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, energy resource, materials, biology, photoelectric, environment, medicine, metallurgy, foods, and labor safety.

Students of the program will acquire:

• Quality of humanity and science, and also social responsibility
• Systematically basic theory and knowledge of mathematics and physics
• Basic theory and experimental skills of chemistry, and well know the frontier, potential application, and latest development of chemistry
